Installation:
Once downloaded, you will have a ZIP™ file containing all necessary files including FULL configuration help files in HTML format.

In the package is an installer which you run on your server and all the critical files and directories are created for you...There is no other required configuration to do.

Setting up your forum/s:
Once the files are in place for your forum, you can configure them either off-line with html editors or on-line, using the forum software itself.

Easily change the appearance of your forum to match your site or use the package as is, "straight out of the box".

You can add images, backgrounds, sound, anything you like to make your forum unique.

You can also add forums for other topics or even add forums for other people to run on YOUR site. ALL good web sites have some interactivity and a Bulletin Board System is probably the oldest method of ensuring regular, high volume visitors to your site.

Along with unlimited BBSes, you get unlimited, personal, colored membership handles with four changeable membership settings each with icons. Also available are three Honored member slots along with a members list.

The software uses templates and a style sheet for complete customization of every aspect of your boards. We've also revamped the archives and search engine to give you nicely formatted views of each. We've even included a profanity filter in the newest version if you choose to utilize it!

Moderation:
Once your site is up and running, you will need to have control over it. You can log in to the Moderating area and set up access for other Moderators too.

Obviously you can BAN users and URLs and "Edit" messages to change anything in the original post. The moderators area can also reveal a users IP to allow you extended control over banning.

All posts may be viewed as threaded messages to make it easy to see what is posted where and posts can be removed with the click of a button.

You also have control over who is allowed to post on a forum as there are 5 permission settings. Configure it to your own preference.

Archiving etc:
Your forum keeps running archives which can be purged clean based on a each thread's date directory.

Archived posts are stored in their own archive directory created by the software and are easily viewable by thread or you can use the forums built-in search engine to find selected posts or users.

Since the BBS index and each post is a generated HTML file, visitors surfing the BBS will not tax your server anymore than requesting regular HTML files. Overloading servers is becoming quite common today with all web applications and we don't want any part of that.

Who's Who...
Your forum software allows you to create your own members who you can give certain permissions to.

Moderators for example, will need access to certain links for deleting posts, whereas normal members will not. Optionally you can allow free memberships so anyone can have a personalized handle.

HTML Links and Emoticons can also be turned on or off for each BBS with helpful buttons and windows for each. The forum software makes this a doddle.
